The Washington County Board of Elections partnered with Hagerstown Community College (HCC) during National Voter Registration Day, September 28, 2021.

Students and staff were afforded the opportunity to register to vote or change their voter registration, learn how the voting equipment in Maryland works, and take part in a mock election.

Hot dogs, snacks, and apple pie were provided by HCC, and participants got to try their hand for "fabulous prizes" at the plinko board.

Members of the Board of Elections staff participated with other Washington County Government staff in the United Way of Washington County's 30th Annual Day of Caring on September 16th.

Staff members were busy at multiple locations, including three Head Start facilities and the Women's Club in downtown Hagerstown.

Some of the duties they performed were mulching, weeding, bush trimming, landscaping, and ALOT of painting!
